Real Dom Quixote no Jardim das Delicias

Real Dom Quixote no Jardim das Delicias, 10.000cm. . Ano 2009. Natal R.N, Brasil


A instalação consta com oito flores em aço, escultura de um cavalo em alumínio e um painel de Hieronymus Bosch “O Jardim das Delicias”. O qual foi interferido por 15 anos de obra do artista plástico Guaraci Gabriel. E na ocasião de estréia o artista realiza performance iniciando com Dom Quixote é auxiliado por uma coreografia do grupo de Candomblé terminando com uma representação de São Jorge. E o espectador confraterniza junto ao grupo. Obra reafirma o conflito entre o bem e o mal, que a busca da paz de espírito, com os obstáculos que se antepõem a reconciliação do homem consigo.
Material: Lonas em polietileno, chapas de alumínio e chapas de ferro.

Real Don Quixote in the Garden of Delights, 10.000cm. . 2009. R.N Natal, Brazil

The installation appears to eight flowers in steel sculpture of a horse in aluminum and a panel of Hieronymus Bosch "Garden of Delights." Passaporte Intergaláctico

Passaporte Intergaláctico, 13cm X 18cm . Ano 2009. Décima Bienal de Havana Centro de Arte Contemporânea Wifredo Lam, Cuba.


A intervenção Urbana remete-se a exposição da reprodução da tela “Guernica” de Pablo Picasso no seu tamanho original pintada pelo Coletivo Aladim no Brasil, onde cada participante recebia um passaporte tinta e pincel e interferia na tela silhuetada por grafiteiro do grupo. A obra se concretizava com a simulação da retirada de um passaporte junto a tela exposta. Onde o expectador era fotografado recebia a foto dirigia-se a um integrante do Coletivo Aladim recebia o passaporte e de posse do mesmo interferia na nova tela. A obra Aladim refere-se a sociedade contemporânea no processo de globalização vendo percebendo MUNDO como um só lugar. Para isso é utilizado uma semiótica de signos com densidade de valores culturais unindo os países com suas diversidades culturais tornando o sujeito como planetário.

Esta obra possui cunho ecológico onde a garrafa de leite serve de deposito d’água para irrigar através de gotejamento mais de 1800 mudas de plantas nativas. Alerta para um futuro e, integrado a esse tempo, uma nova forma de viver.

Raio X Expandido

Raio X Expandido, 70cm x600cm 170cm . Ano 2007. 1º Bienal de Arte Contemporâneo Del Fin Del Mundo Ushuaia Patagônia, Argentina

A intervenção urbana projeto Raios-X Expandido consta de ploter adesivado em um transporte automóvel coletivo (imagens de radiografias de pessoas sentadas nos seus acentos com fotografias de bens de consumo tipo: bebidas, câmeras fotográficas, sapatos etc.), do outro lado do ônibus um adesivo da bancada interna do ônibus com pessoas sentadas com roupas de região tropical. No percurso do ônibus havia varias instalações e uma delas é um gráfico dos batimentos cardíacos representavam o Aquecimento Global. Dentro do ônibus o artista distribuía luvas com impressão dos Raios-X que ao vestir a mesma e juntando as mãos aparecia um globo e a frase “ e agora o que fazer? ”. As luvas se transformam em um convite para a festa onde as pessoas na entrada eram grafitadas com a tinta imperceptível apenas vista na “luz negra”.

On the bus the artist distributed gloves with printing of X-rays than to dress the same and joining hands appeared a globe and the phrase "and now what to do? . Gloves become an invitation to a party where people were at the entrance graphited with invisible ink only seen in "black light".

A obra trata-se do Ego, Homem e tempo questão filosofica. A montagem da obra cravada no piso na altura da 4º da Linha do Equador há 34º do Meridiano de Greenwich, por controle egocêntrico do artista. Pois todos os anos no inicio da estação Primavera o Sol se Poe perpendicularmente ao centro da Estrela.

Material: Ferro, tubos de ferro e malhas de aço inoxidável.

A imagem acima faz lembrar o Brasil? Foi exatamente no que o artista plástico Guaraci Gabriel se inspirou ao criar a escultura Boca da Noite, que está exposta em Mossoró, no Rio Grande do Norte. Especializado em trabalhar com sucata em suas obras de arte, ele utilizou dois fusquinhas - um representando a Câmara e o outro o Senado -, um garfo e uma faca, simbolizando a comida ou a falta dela, e espetou um carro da marca Brasília no alto. ''Quis retratar a fome do mundo, a fome do Brasil, a fome zero'', diz. E não é que conseguiu?

Primavera em Vênus

Instalação realizada na Fundação Nacional de Artes do Ministério da Cultura Rio de Janeiro R.J. Brasil. A obra é resultado de uma ação realizada no Palácio da Cultura em Natal Rio Grande do Norte em 2004. Na qual Guaraci Gabriel assinava uma série de obras com o sangue de sua própria mãe. O artista cria uma obra no Rio de Janeiro onde ela se desloca para assinar. A obra e composta de vários olhos mágicos sobre a silhueta de uma Venus. E um dos olhos mágicos era possível ver o processo da obra anterior realizada em Natal R.N..

Obra afirmativa da fortaleza do feminino o útero como um grande universo.

Material: Antena parabólica, jornais, chapas de off set com matérias sobre o feminino e resina utilizada nas Venus, adesivo vermelho.

A obra faz uma relação plástica entre a clave de Sol e a Venus de Willendorf .A Venus e Clave de Sol estão instaladas em um prédio e interligam-se mais dois edifícios através da partitura com as notas musicais do hino nacional brasileiro onde o espectador austríaco a cantar as notas em voz alta.

Material: sucatas de bicicletas, cabos de aço e compensando naval.

Obra de cunho filosófico. A representação de que as idéias existem e o homem é um mero alimento da idéia. A intervenção esteticamente tem uma particularidade do lugar, onde os materiais conhecidos na própria cultura local como o automóvel Brasília e o cano de escape remete-se a conotação política onde a nossa capital possui o mesmo nome Brasília e como Cristo morreu entre dois ladrões associação dos corruptos da política nacional.

Material: Carcaça de automóveis (Brasilias), tubos de aço de 8” e chapas de ferro de ½”.

Guerra e Paz


Guerra e Paz 2400cm x 2500cm x 2500cm . Ano 1998. Via Costeira Natal R.N Brasil.


Guines Book por ser a maior obra em material reciclado de metal pesando 50t.

Obra que representa o conflito da humanidade. O equilíbrio entre as forças antagônicas da existência humana. Onde no plano horizontal consta uma mandâla divida em duas partes, de um lado 5 carcaças de aeronaves de guerra destroçadas e ossos e do outro lado composta por tubos brancos, delineados com 50 flecha formando o símbolo de in e Yang.E na vertical uma base de lançamento de foguete , na cápsula principal o símbolo de Paz utilizado nos anos 60 pelo movimento Ripie. Na ocasião da inauguração da obra, foi executada a performance do artista que com as vestes de Papa fazia a contagem regressiva para o lançamento do foguete, iniciando um show pirotécnico.

Material: destroços de aeronaves caças F5, 1 caldeira tubos de ferro e ossos.

Guines Book for being the greatest work in recycled metal weighing 50t.
